Service Area
Raleigh Animal Removal serves the greater Raleigh and Durham area, covering Wake, Durham, Orange, and Johnston counties from our Raleigh base at 1913 Lost Cove Ln.
Counties We Serve
Wake County
Our home county and the core of our service area since 1990. Wake County work is dominated by gray squirrels and flying squirrels in older Raleigh neighborhoods, bats along ridge lines in Cary and Apex, and raccoons in chimneys throughout North Raleigh. We also hold long standing institutional accounts here, including Wake County Public Schools for more than twenty years.
Durham County
Durham's mix of century old housing stock near downtown and newer construction toward RTP produces two different problems: aging soffits and fascia that squirrels and bats exploit, and construction gaps at roof returns on newer homes. We run the same inspection and exclusion process on both.
Orange County
Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Hillsborough properties often sit against heavy tree cover, which increases pressure from squirrels, flying squirrels, and snakes following rodent activity. Wooded lots typically need roof line exclusion rather than one off trapping.
Johnston County
Clayton and the surrounding communities have grown quickly, and new development pushes raccoons, opossums, and snakes toward homes. Crawl space and foundation exclusion is a bigger share of the work here than in the urban core.

Response Times and Scheduling
Our phone line is answered 24/7 and field crews work Monday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Most inspections inside Wake County are scheduled within one to two business days, and active situations such as an animal inside the living space are prioritized the same day whenever possible.
Inspections for bats and flying squirrels are free. If your property sits just outside the counties listed above, call us anyway at (919) 661-0722 and we will tell you honestly whether we cover it.
